Die UNITAX-Pharmalogistik GmbH ist Teil der größten Impfaktion Deutschlands: Das Unternehmen aus Berlin-Schönefeld beliefert Impfzentren, Krankenhäuser und Senioreneinrichtungen im Land Brandenburg mit dem COVID-19-Impfstoff. Zurzeit ist der Schönefelder Gesellschafter von GDP network solutions mit sechs bis zehn Fahrzeugen im Einsatz, täglich werden rund 45 Empfangsstationen zuverlässig beliefert. „Es ist ein Herzensauftrag für uns“, sagt UNITAX-Gründer und CEO André Reich. Er geht davon aus, dass die Menge der transportierten Impfstoffe in den nächsten Wochen weiter steigen wird.
Die ersten Dosen des Wirkstoffes von BioNTech/Pfizer überbrachten André Reich und CFO Steven Reinhold pünktlich zum Impfstart Ende Dezember 2020 persönlich: Empfänger waren zwei Senioreneinrichtungen in den Landkreisen Oberspreewald-Lausitz und Havelland. Das sensible Vakzin von BioNTech/Pfizer muss aktuell bei -75°C gelagert und gekühlt transportiert werden. Auch der Impfstoff des Herstellers Moderna, den UNITAX aktuell ausliefert, ist temperaturempfindlich und benötigt bei der Lagerung eine Kühlung von -20 °C. „Auf die temperaturgeführte Lagerung in unterschiedlichen Klimabereichen und Transporte nach der GDP-Guideline sind wir spezialisiert“, erläutert André Reich. „Wegen der besonderen Anforderungen an die Impfstoff-Logistik haben wir für das Projekt eine eigene Mannschaft aufgestellt und bereits in weiteres Kühlequipment investiert.“
UNITAX hatte den Auftrag vom Land Brandenburg im vergangenen Dezember erhalten.
