Der Neubau ist die Antwort auf die steigende Nachfrage nach BtM- Logistik in einem wachsenden Markt mit komplexen Anforderungen.
Der neue „Hochsicherheitstrakt“ bietet Platz für rund 4.000 Paletten und verfügt zusätzlich über 1.000 Quadratmeter Fläche zur Kommissionierung und Verpackung.
„Der Bau eines BtM-Lagers weist Parallelen zur BtM-Logistik auf: Es gelten hohe rechtliche Maßstäbe bei Sicherheit und Qualität“, betont Lars Dörhage, geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von Med-X-Press. Folglich hatte die Sicherheits- und Klimatechnik einen besonderen Stellenwert im Rahmen der Bauplanung. Entstehen wird ein „klimatisierter Tresor“, der auch den Kriterien der Nachhaltigkeit entspricht. So wird das geplante Gründach dazu beitragen, die Effekte einer Aufheizung im Sommer und entsprechend einer Auskühlung im Winter zu reduzieren.
Mit dem nun erfolgten ersten Spatenstich realisiert Med-X-Press einen weiteren Schritt der Expansion in einem speziellen Segment der Pharmalogistik. Seit über zehn Jahren ist das mittelständische Unternehmen etablierter BtM-Spezialist und hat nicht nur die Lagerkapazitäten sondern auch die Dienstleistungsangebote für Kunden in diesem Bereich erheblich ausgebaut.
Der Markt für Betäubungsmittel legt seit Jahren zu und erhielt durch die bedingte Freigabe von Medizinal-Cannabis einen zusätzlichen Schub. Mit der Erschließung neuer Geschäftsfelder, wie die Stabilitätseinlagerung für Betäubungsmittel oder der Beratung beim Im- und Export bietet Med-X-Press ein breites Spektrum an Dienstleistungen.
Die Errichtung des neuen BtM-Lagers komplettiert diese Dienstleistungen mit der signifikanten Erweiterung der Lagerkapazitäten, die den Anforderungen der Med-X-Press Kunden nach rechtskonformem Handling von Betäubungsmitteln Rechnung trägt.
